Possibly the most naturalistic water garden design we have created at Hampton Court.
You could stumble across this garden in the middle of a woodland and it not seem out of place.
At the top, a header pool gently flows under the rustic bridge and seating area to the larger pool beneath. The shelter and deck area have been constructed using timber lain forgotten in a local timber yard.
The timber stepped path leads you from the front of the garden, up between the two pools, where to the right lies a small flattened meadow grass area shaded beneath a tree adjacent to the deck.
The planting is made up from a combination of native and ornamental plants to illustrate, when planted together with thought and care, how they compliment the wood and water to form a harmonious natural water garden.
