The initial concept came from Mark Davies of World of Water whose passion for sailing inspired this nautically themed retreat. The beauty of the design is that it can be recreated anywhere.
Pete Sims creativity and construction skills were combined to great effect.
The decking and bridge were made from reclaimed timber with a screen and wind-break of dingy sails, inter-planted with willow and alder.
Soft and natural with the pool edging retained with a living willow wattle fence this garden was a triumph. Native and cultivated plants were used showing they can grow in harmony together, complimenting each other and creating a perfect habitat for wildlife.
This design could easily be adapted for your garden.
